LIT CITY SPELLING BEE CHAMPIONSHIP
Come cheer on our scholars as they take the stage for the LIT City Spelling Bee Championship! After competing in spelling bees at churches across the city, our finalists are coming together for one exciting championship event.
FUN FILLED DAY FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY
The day is all about celebrating our scholars, families, program partners, and church partners! Join us for great food, plenty of fun, and activities the whole family can enjoy.
OPPORTUNITIES TO GET INVOLVED IN LIT CITY
Throughout the day, families can connect with active LIT City programs to sign up their scholars, churches can learn how to bring LIT City to their congregation, and volunteers can discover ways to serve at a local program site.

Who can attend?

The event is FREE and open to the public, but requires pre-registration for everyone, including children

What is the registration cut-off date?

All persons (adults and children) must be registered no later than Tuesday, September 1st.

Why are background checks required for attendance?
-
In partnership with the Atlanta Police Department, all registrations will be reviewed, and background checks will be conducted before the event. This measure is in place for the safety and protection of all children in attendance. Date of birth is required at the time of registration, and anyone not permitted onsite will be notified.
